Steve Cairncross and Lisa Perich just completed the sale of an income piece of property for me in South Mission Beach this month. It was the third property that they have sold for me in Mission Beach within the past ten years. This sale was especially impressive, as it needed to be sold with the tenants still residing in the units of the duplex. It was listed, photographed, and began showings all within about a 2 week period. Lisa was just amazing in the way she worked flawlessly and thoughtfully with my tenants to accomplish all of this in a manner that did not disturb their lives. She made the showing appointments for the same 2-hour period one day, and the building went into escrow the next day. Steve, as always, was a knowledgeable and absolutely involved broker, and Lisa was the professional, thoughtful and innovative agent who I worked with (for the second time) to achieve such a smooth and satisfying business experience. Steve helped us sell a triplex in Mission Beach that had multiple owners and special circumstances. He was able to negotiate the best price and help us honor our summer rentals. Well it has been about 5 years and we came to Steve again. This time my husband and I were looking for a townhome in La Jolla. I am writing this review as a 23 year licensed agent in the State of Colorado so my expectations for the sale process were probably much higher and more detailed than most sellers who are not familiar with what goes on behind the scenes of a sale. The Cairncross Team and particularly Steve and Caitlin made the sale of our family's home long distance a great experience with a very successful end result. There was a lot of work that needed to be done on the property before it could be put on the market and Steve's team was on the spot with great resources and constant supervision of the process to ensure that everything was well coordinated and done correctly. Being half way across the country we had to trust and rely of them for direction and management of a huge project. They never disappointed. It was a somewhat daunting prospect to attempt to sell my mother’s home of over 40 years from out of town during a pandemic. We could not have been in better hands than we were with Steve and his team, and I am so grateful that we found them. They were all wonderful to work with.
